I never thought to use the System Monitor until I saw one of my students playing around with it yesterday. Anyway, this is the output from my quad core desktop. Around this time, I was burning a DVD image, playing an MP3 ("Rich Fantasy Lives"), had an OpenOffice.org presentation and several Firefox tabs open.
I really should have a bigger workload.
