I hooked up my mother's HP Mini to her big-screen LCD TV. Result: the largest Ubuntu screen I've used ever. In case you're wondering, it's running Ubuntu 9.10, with the Netbook Remix interface. I hit a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080.
